Team Websites
Coaches, as a coach I can say having a team website has being a great success. We can set up a website for any team free of charge. After a couple of weeks my players and parents became dependent on our website for…

- Change in schedule
- Team info
Here is a sample teampage you can take a look at.
If you are interested in having a team website send me an email at annederanian@colsoc.com

Tournaments
While attending tournaments is optional for cougars teams, lobos work very hard each year to offer some of the most competitive tournaments in the mid south. The advantage to attending lobos run tournaments are that they are held locally, normally at mike rose soccer complex. Here is a list of lobos tournaments. http://www.colsoc.com/lobos/tournament.shtml
Collierville Soccer Website
Collierville Soccer Website is a tool designed to assist both coaches and parents. There is a section dedicated solely to the practice sessions a coach may conduct with their team. This stems from the age group to the particular drill. These resources are available to all coaches. Visit our website at www.colsoc.com and start planning your practice session today!
Level of play at Mike Rose
Every season we hope to be involved in a balanced competitive league. As a newly formed team you maybe surprised with the level of play you may encounter at mike rose. Do not be discouraged; every team needs to start somewhere.
While Practice times are on a first come first served bases, younger team practices are giving priority at the earlier allotted times.
On an extra note, here are some thoughts about the cougars program from current parents.
Our daughters have played soccer in the Cougars program for the past two years. We moved from the recreational league to the Cougars because the girls expressed interest in a higher level of competition. We also wanted them to be on a team with players who shared a similar commitment to soccer. For our family, the Cougars program is a perfect fit and a nice way to experience competitive soccer. Player development is encouraged in weekly practices and through a variety of training and conditioning opportunities available before and during the season. Yet the practice and game schedule is not so demanding that participation in other activities is prevented. The Cougars program allows our girls to balance athletics, academics and other interests. Through the efforts of John and Anne Deranian and the 94 Lady Cougars team, our daughters have been encouraged to become leaders on the field, to understand the importance of teamwork, and to enjoy the camaraderie of the other players.
