ININ Click for Current LOBOS in the ODP Program 17 Players on 2005 State Pool Teams! |
USYS pdf file The Olympic Development Program (ODP) is the US Youth Soccer's national program of identifying talented girls and boys to compete on district, state, regional and national teams.
District Pools vie for spots on State teams. These teams train once a month (usually in Nashville). Tennessee State Team members travel to neighboring states (NC, GA, AL, KY) to compete against those state squads in "sub-regional" events. ODP hold mini camps and week long Regional Camps in the summer. From these camps regional rosters are filled. The ladder climbs all the way to the US National squad that competes in the World Cup! District Try-Outs for 12 year olds are held locally in the Fall To read more about the recruiting/recommendation procedure Check the TN ODP Site and/or ask your coach.
